Pepperdine Psi Chi Looking for Officers — Apply Now!

Attention Psychology students!

PsiChiSeal

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, is looking for hard-working, creative, and dedicated students to be involved in leadership for the 2015-2016 school year. You must already be a member of our Psi Chi chapter or become a member this semester in order to be eligible for an officer position. Additionally, you must graduate no sooner than Spring 2016. Below you will find a basic description of each of the positions available. If you are interested, please submit a brief (no more than one page) statement of interest to PsiChiPepperdine@gmail.com, including at least the following:

– The campus you primarily attend

– The position you are interested in

– The qualities that would make you a good fit for that position and for leadership in general

– Any ideas you have for our chapter

Once all statements of interest have been received, they will be reviewed by the current leadership and submitted to the members of our Psi Chi chapter to be voted upon. The individuals who receive the most votes for each position will serve as that position for the 2015-2016 school year. Please contact Victoria Nelson or Christine Esquivel at PsiChiPepperdine@gmail.com with any questions or concerns you have.

With the right leadership, our Psi Chi chapter can continue to become a wonderful resource for the students at Pepperdine. We hope you want to be a part of building that!

Positions Available

President – Responsible for chapter leadership across all campuses.

Publicity Coordinator – Responsible for publicizing chapter events and connecting members.

Vice President – Will provide support for President and the other officers and will help plan the major chapter events.

Treasurer- Will handle Psi Chi financials, budgets, etc.

Campus Directors- (Four total; one for each campus) – Will help organize, publicize, and attend the events at his or her campus of responsibility.
